President Trump Nominates Mike Selig for CFTC Chair

President Donald Trump nominated Mike Selig to serve as the next Chair of the CFTC.

The nomination follows President Trump’s decision earlier this month to withdraw the nomination of Brian Quintenz for the same position. (See related coverage.)

Mr. Selig currently serves as chief counsel for the SEC’s Crypto Task Force. He previously served as an attorney in private practice.
