SEC Names Panelists for Crypto Tokenization Roundtable

The SEC's Crypto Task Force announced the panelists for its upcoming roundtable, "Tokenization — Moving Assets Onchain: Where TradFi and DeFi Meet." The roundtable is scheduled for May 12, 2025.  

The two-part agenda includes a separate focus on the evolution of finance and the future of tokenization.

On the evolution of finance, the panelists include:

  • Cynthia Lo Bessette, Head of Fidelity Digital Asset Management, Fidelity
  • Eun Ah Choi, Global Head of Regulatory Operations, Nasdaq
  • Will Geyer, Head of Capital Markets, Invesco
  • Sandy Kaul, SVP and Head of Franklin Innovation Research, Strategies & Technologies, Franklin Templeton
  • Robert Mitchnick, Head of Digital Assets, BlackRock
  • Christine Moy, Partner, Apollo Management
  • Johnny Reinsch, Executive Director, Tokenized Asset Coalition
  • Christian Sabella, Managing Director and Deputy General Counsel, DTCC
  • Alex Zozos, General Counsel, SuperState

On the future of tokenization, the panelists include:

  • Hilary Allen, Professor of Law, American University Washington College of Law
  • Gene Hoffman, Chief Executive Officer, Chia Network
  • Johann Kerbrat, SVP and General Manager, Robinhood
  • Kelly Mathieson, Chief Business Development Officer, Digital Asset
  • Sidney Powell, CEO and Co-Founder, Maple Finance

The Crypto Task Force also rescheduled the "DeFi and the American Spirit" roundtable from June 6 to June 9.
