SEC Sets Deadline to Comment on Draft Strategic Plan
Comments on the SEC's draft Strategic Plan for fiscal years 2022 through 2026 are due by September 29, 2022. The Notice was published in the Federal Register.
As previously covered, the draft Strategic Plan outlines the SEC's strategic goals and planned initiatives as to (i) protecting working-class families from financial misconduct, (ii) developing a robust regulatory framework that keeps pace with innovation, and (iii) supporting diversity and inclusion within the SEC's workforce.
