SEC Appoints Director of Corporation Finance and General Counsel

The SEC appointed Renee Jones as its Division of Corporation Finance Director and John Coates as its General Counsel.

Prior to her appointment, Ms. Jones was an Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Professor of Law at Boston College Law School. Mr. Coates most recently served as the Division of Corporation Finance Acting Director and was previously a John F. Cogan Professor of Law and Economics, as well as Vice Dean for Finance and Strategic Initiatives, at Harvard University.
