MSRB Begins Publishing State and Local EMMA Disclosure Reports

The MSRB began publishing weekly summaries of state and local disclosure reports submitted to the Electronic Municipal Market Access ("EMMA") system. The new weekly summaries are intended to provide insight to investors on how states and municipalities are navigating market challenges and the impact of the pandemic "on their revenues and ability to finance essential public services."

As previously covered, the MSRB "began publishing daily analysis of municipal market trade activity to assist market participants, policymakers and the general public with understanding the impact of the COVID-19 on the liquidity of the market following days of unprecedented volatility."
