MSRB Publishes Daily Trading Summary

The MSRB published a new daily trading summary to help market participants understand COVID-19's impact on the liquidity of the municipal securities market. The MSRB began publishing this daily analysis of trade activity on March 25, 2020.

According to the MSRB, trading in the municipal securities' secondary market is at "all-time highs." In addition, retail investor buying within the fixed-rate market reached a daily average of approximately 11,700 trades.

The MSRB affirmed that market participants can access the daily trade summary on its website.
