FINRA Proposes to Delay Publication of Certain Data Related to Reg NMS Tick Size Pilot Program
FINRA filed with the SEC a proposed rule change to Rule 6191 in order to delay the publication date of certain data pursuant to the Regulation National Market System ("NMS") Plan to Implement a Tick Size Pilot Program.
FINRA Rule 6191 currently requires that FINRA make certain data (Appendix B data) publicly available by April 28, 2017. FINRA is proposing to delay the website publication of this data until August 31, 2017 to allow for consideration of a methodology that would mitigate confidentiality concerns that have been raised in connection with the publication of the data.
