FINRA Proposes Delay of Tick Size Pilot Data Publication

FINRA proposed delaying the date for making certain over-the-counter trading activity data publicly available on its website, as required by the Regulation NMS Plan to Implement a Tick Size Pilot Program. The delay would move the date of publication from February 28, 2017 to April 28, 2017. According to FINRA, the purpose of the delay is to provide additional time for FINRA to assess a means of addressing the confidentiality concerns raised in connection with the publication of the data.

FINRA filed the proposal for immediate effectiveness.
