The Congressional Research Service reviewed Russia's current status as to global trade, tariffs and WTO membership in anticipation of U.S. proposed legislation to revoke Russia's permanent normal trade relations status.

OCC Comptroller Michael Hsu cautioned that "tail risks" ("low probability, high impact risk events") have increased as a result of Russia's invasion of Ukraine. He also described tail risk factors associated with the trading of crypto-related derivatives.

In a 2022-2026 Strategic Plan, CFTC Chair Rostin Behnam highlighted "emerging trends transforming global derivatives markets" including "digital asset commodities, decentralized finance, and Environmental, Social, and Governance Investing."

FINRA is encouraging member firms and other interested parties to participate in its advisory and ad hoc committees.
