Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), Senator Mark Warner (D-VA) and Representative Elijah Cummings (D-MD) introduced the Derivatives Oversight and Taxpayer Protection Act. The bill would increase federal oversight of derivatives and increase CFTC fees and penalties.
