OCC Appoints New Chief Counsel
The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency ("OCC") appointed Adam Cohen as Chief Counsel and Senior Deputy Comptroller.
Mr. Cohen joins the OCC from the private sector. He was formerly the Co-Head of a Financial Institutions Regulatory Group at a law firm and prior to that he was general counsel for a financial institution. Mr. Cohen also served previously in several government positions, including at the Federal Reserve and at the Commodity Futures Trading Commission.
He starts on August 11, 2025.
