CFPB Extends Comment Deadline for RFI on Customer Service at Big Banks
The CFPB extended the comment period for a Request for Information ("RFI") on obstacles that prevent consumers from having high-quality interactions with large depository institutions. The comment period for the RFI was extended from July 21, 2022 to August 22, 2022.
As previously covered, the CFPB issued the RFI with the intention of renewing big banks' attention to "relationship banking." The CFPB said that it will use the feedback to ensure customers receive individualized quality advice and timely responses.
