CFTC EEMAC to Consider Report on Swap Dealer "De Minimis" Exception
The CFTC issued an agenda for the Energy and Environmental Markets Advisory Committee ("EEMAC") public meeting. The meeting will be held on Thursday, February 25, 2016, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the CFTC's headquarters in Washington, D.C.
In the first of two panel discussions, the EEMAC will examine the CFTC-proposed order to provide exemptive relief from Commodity Exchange Act requirements for certain transactions offered or entered into in markets administered by a regional transmission organization or independent system operator. In the second panel, the EEMAC will discuss CFTC Staff's Preliminary Report on the Swap Dealer De Minimis Exception.
