CFTC EEMAC to Hold Public Meeting

On February 25, 2016, the CFTC's Energy and Environmental Markets Advisory Committee ("EEMAC") will hold a public meeting. In the first of two panel discussions, the EEMAC will examine the CFTC proposed order providing exemptive relief for certain transactions offered or entered into in markets administered by a regional transmission organization or independent system operator from Commodity Exchange Act requirements. In the second panel discussion, the EEMAC will discuss CFTC Staff's Preliminary Report on the Swap Dealer De Minimis Exception. CFTC Commissioner Christopher J. Giancarlo is the sponsor of EEMAC.
