SEC Revises EDGAR Electronic and Remote Notarization Provisions

The SEC revised the Electronic Data Gathering, Analysis, and Retrieval System ("EDGAR") Filer Manual relating to electronic and remote online notarizations. The revisions reflect changes made to EDGAR on December 14, 2020.

The revisions went into effect on February 3, 2021. Additionally, the SEC is seeking comments on Form ID information collection, as required under the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995.
