SEC Sets December Roundtables on Market Structure and Digital Privacy
The SEC released updated plans for two roundtables addressing market-structure reforms and digital-asset privacy.
The SEC will hold a roundtable on December 16, 2025, to discuss Rule 611 of Regulation NMS ("Order protection rule") and related trade-through requirements. The event follows the SEC’s September 18, 2025, roundtable on trade-through prohibitions (see previous coverage), and will focus on whether current protections for National Market System stocks remain appropriate.
Separately, the SEC’s Crypto Task Force rescheduled its Financial Surveillance and Privacy Roundtable, moving it from October to December 15.
