President Trump Nominates CFPB Director

President Donald Trump nominated Stuart Levenbach to be the next Director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau ("CFPB"). The term runs until November 18, 2030. 

Mr. Levenbach currently serves as an associate director and a principal aide to Office of Management and Budget Director and Acting CFPB Director Russell Vought. Mr. Vought is limited in the time he is allowed to serve as Acting Director under the Vacancies Act.
