CFTC Acting Chair Caroline D. Pham celebrated the agency's "golden anniversary."
In a statement, she recognized the CFTC's history of adapting to new markets and technologies, and called the agency a "principles-based" regulator that remains "on the cutting edge of innovation." She expressed "confiden[ce] that the CFTC will continue to deliver for the American people and this great nation with excellence."
