FINRA Reminds Firms on Registration Renewal Fee Deadlines

FINRA reminded broker-dealers and investment advisers on upcoming registration renewal fee payment deadlines.

In the Notice, FINRA said it will make available Preliminary Statements on November 11, 2024 and must receive full payment of the preliminary statement fees by December 9, 2024. FINRA said that "firms risk becoming ineligible to do business in jurisdictions where their registrations are not renewed," if payment is not received by December 26, 2024.

FINRA said it will make available Final Statements by January 2, 2025, which reflect reconciliations and fee adjustments as to the status of registrations, exempt reporting, or notice filings, on December 31, 2024. FINRA said it must receive full payment on the final statement by January 24, 2025.
