FINRA Requests Comment on Proposal to Post All Order Execution Reports

FINRA requested comment on a proposal to require market participants to submit their Regulation NMS Rule 605 ("Disclosure of order execution information") reports in National Market System stocks to FINRA. Submitted reports would then be published in a centralized location on the FINRA website.

In a Regulatory Notice, FINRA stated that the proposal would improve accessibility by providing users with a central location to easily locate and download the reports. FINRA said that the proposal would supplement and not replace market participants' current obligations under Rule 605.

Comments on the proposal must be submitted by July 31, 2023.
