SEC Extends Deadline to Approve Amendment to the CAT Funding Model Proposal
The SEC extended the deadline to decide whether to approve or disapprove an amendment to the CAT NMS Plan proposal which would implement a revised funding model for the consolidated audit trail ("Executed Share Model") and establish a new fee schedule. The deadline was extended from January 27, 2023 until March 28, 2023.
As previously covered, the partial amendment, which was proposed by the CAT Operating Committee, would (i) amend the description of CAT fees as they relate to prospective CAT costs, (ii) provide detailed descriptions of historical CAT Assessment in the CAT NMS Plan and (iii) change the description of the Executed Share Model.
