FINRA Proposes Additional Extension on Expiration Date for Temporary Pandemic-related Relief

FINRA proposed an additional extension of the expiration date on its previously issued COVID-related relief.

The extension, from October 31, 2022 to January 31, 2023, affects temporary relief from some timing, method of service and other procedural requirements in FINRA rules, and allows hearings and adjudications to be done by video conference when warranted. The extension was filed to be immediately effective.
