FSOC Establishes Climate-related Advisory Committee

The Financial Stability Oversight Council ("FSOC") established a "Climate-related Financial Risk Advisory Committee." The intent to establish the Committee was initially announced in FSOC's Report on Climate-Related Financial Risk 2021, and is intended to help FSOC analyze climate-related financial risks across the banking industry. The Committee will have 20 (private sector) inaugural members and one additional government observer.
