President Biden Submits Nominations for FDIC Board of Directors

President Joseph R. Biden will nominate Travis Hill to be Vice Chair of the FDIC Board of Directors and Jonathan McKernan to be a General Board Member.

Currently, Mr. Hill serves as Senior Advisor to the Chairman and Deputy to the Chairman for Policy at the FDIC. Previously, he served as Senior Counsel at the Senate Banking Committee.

Mr. McKernan currently serves as Senior Counsel at the Federal Housing Finance Agency. He serves as Counsel to the minority staff of the Senate Banking Committee. Previously, he worked as Senior Policy Advisor at Treasury and to Senator Bob Corker (R-TN).
