CFTC Commissioner Goldsmith Romero Appoints Senior Staff

CFTC Commissioner Christy Goldsmith Romero appointed Joseph R. Cisewski to serve as her Chief of Staff and Senior Counsel.

Prior to accepting this role, Mr. Cisewski served as Senior Special Counsel and Policy Advisor to CFTC Commissioner Mark P. Wetjen (and also served as the agency's Co-Chief of Staff and Co-Chief Operating Officer under Acting Chairman Wetjen) and in the SEC Division of Trading and Markets. Mr. Cisewski also previously held several financial-related private sector positions.
