SROs Extend Pilot Program for Market-wide Circuit Breakers

A number of self-regulatory organizations, including NYSE Arca, NYSE Chicago and NYSE National, extended a pilot program on market-wide circuit breakers. The extension runs until April 18, 2022. Generally, the pilot program imposes market breaks when a market decline exceeds specified levels, with the length of the break determined by the severity of the decline.

Comments may be submitted until April 27, 2022.
