OFAC Adds Russia-Related Designations to SDN List
OFAC updated its Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons List ("SDN" list) to include numerous Russian individuals, entities and assets (including luxury yachts and aircraft).
Among the additions to the SDN list were Russian oligarch Alisher Usmanov and his Cayman registered yacht and Airbus A340-300. In order to provide important identified information, OFAC published General License No.15 authorizing transactions involving certain blocked entities owned by Alisher Usmanov.
OFAC also added counter terrorism designations to the SDN list.
