President Biden to Nominate Sandra Thompson as FHFA Director

President Joseph R. Biden will nominate Sandra L. Thompson to serve as Director of the Federal Housing Finance Agency ("FHFA"). Ms. Thompson has been serving as Acting Director since her designation by President Biden in June 2021.

Before serving as Acting Director of the FHFA, Ms. Thompson was Deputy Director of the FHFA's Division of Housing Mission and Goals. Prior to that, Ms. Thompson served in a variety of senior roles at the FDIC over the course of two decades.
