FRB Names New Board Member

FRB Chair Jerome H. Powell swore in Christopher J. Waller as a member of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System.

Mr. Waller assumed the position on December 18, 2020, in order to fill an unexpired term that will end on January 31, 2030. President Trump nominated Mr. Waller on January 16, 2020; the Senate confirmed Mr. Waller on December 3, 2020.

Since 2009, Mr. Waller had served as executive vice president and director of research at the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis.
