NYDFS and France ACPR Sign MOU to Promote Fintech Cooperation

The New York State Department of Financial Services ("NYDFS") and France’s Autorité de Contrôle Prudentiel et de Résolution ("ACPR") signed a Memorandum of Understanding ("MOU") to promote fintech cooperation and facilitate entry for fintech companies into the New York and French Markets.

Under the MOU, the NYDFS and ACPR will:

• refer fintech innovators to each other for support;

• exchange information about regulatory and policy issues and emerging market trends; and

• share regulatory and supervisory expertise.
