GAO Recommends Improvements to SEC Operations

The GAO recommended improvements to SEC operations. The GAO advised the SEC to:

  • conduct periodic validations of its performance management system; and
  • establish procedures to improve transparency and fairness with regard to the new SEC performance incentive bonus program.
