FDIC Chief Information Officer Resigns
FDIC Chief Information Officer ("CIO") Howard Whyte will leave the agency in January 2020. Mr. Whyte has served as FDIC CIO since October 2017.
Deputy CIO Sylvia Burns will serve as Acting CIO until a permanent replacement is appointed. Ms. Burns joined the agency in September 2018 and led the agency's five-year IT modernization plan. Previously, she served as CIO at the Department of the Interior.
