FINRA to Simplify Online Interaction

FINRA launched an initiative (the "Digital Experience Transformation") to improve compliance reporting and management by "simplifying" broker-dealers' online interactions with FINRA.

The initiative, which is to be implemented in several stages, would:

  • centralize task management for compliance professionals;

  • provide early notification to firms for any potential compliance issues;

  • customize the platform to the user's role;

  • create a consolidated workspace to facilitate communication with FINRA staff;

  • enhance machine-to-machine integration with firm systems; and

  • provide access to an online database and support.
