MSRB Names New General Counsel

The MSRB named Michael L. Post as General Counsel. In this role, Mr. Post will serve as senior legal counsel and policy advisor to the MSRB Board of Directors and will oversee Board governance. He also will oversee (i) rulemaking for municipal securities dealers and municipal advisors, (ii) regulatory relationships and (iii) legislative affairs.

Mr. Post served as MSRB Deputy General Counsel beginning in 2013. Before that, he served in several senior-level roles at the SEC.
