OCC Names New Deputy Comptrollers

The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency ("OCC") named Scott Schainost as Deputy Comptroller for Midsize Bank Supervision and Troy Thornton as Deputy Comptroller for the Southern District.

In the newly created position, Mr. Schainost will oversee the supervision of midsize national banks and federal savings associations with assets valued between $5 billion and $60 billion, as well as a number of nationally chartered institutions.
