Federal Register: FDIC Corrects Final Rule Transferring Responsibility for Fair Credit Reporting Regulations to CFPB

The FDIC corrected a final rule regarding the removal of certain regulations on Fair Credit Reporting. The responsibility for these regulations was transferred to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. The correction removes and reserves the appendices that applied to the subparts that contained the removed rules. The final rule correction is effective immediately and was published in the Federal Register.
