Comment Deadlines

  • May 19: FINRA proposed rule change to adopt FINRA Rules 2030 and 4580 to establish "pay-to-play" and related rules.
  • May 23: FERC proposal to revise the pro forma Small Generator Interconnection Agreement.
  • May 26: FDIC proposed rule that would facilitate prompt payment of FDIC-insured deposits when large insured depository institutions fail.
  • May 26: CFPB reopened comment period for proposed amendments to certain mortgage servicing provisions in Regulation X and Regulation Z.

Effective Dates

  • May 16: SEC adoption of crowdfunding regulations under Title III of the JOBS Act.
  • May 23: FERC Reliability Standard PRC-026-1, which is designed to ensure that applicable entities use protective relay systems that can differentiate between faults and stable power swings.
  • May 23: FINRA rule change to amend FINRA Rule 6730 to require an indicator when the TRACE report does not reflect a commission or mark-up/mark-down.

Filing Deadlines

  • May 31: FINRA annual audit report filing deadline for the period ending March 31, 2016.
