SEC Solicits Comments about the Collection of Information Regarding Contracts between Funds and FCMs
The SEC issued a notice soliciting comments about the extension and approval of the collection of information required by Investment Company Act Rule 17f-6. The Rule currently permits registered investment companies to maintain assets (i.e., margin) with futures commission merchants in connection with commodity transactions effected on both domestic and foreign exchanges.
Comments are due within 60 days of the publication of this notice.
