SEC Open Meeting: Definitions Under Title VII of Dodd-Frank

The SEC announced that it will hold an open meeting on Wednesday, April 27, 2011, to consider: (1) whether to propose rules (jointly with the CFTC) to define "swap," "security-based swap," "security-based swap agreement," and to regulate mixed swaps, and to set forth books and records requirements for swaps; and (2) to propose regulations to remove certain references to credit ratings in various Exchange Act rules.
