FINRA Proposes to Provide a Web-Based Delivery Method for Continuing Education Requirement

FINRA filed with the SEC a proposed rule change to amend FINRA Rule 1250 ("Continuing Education Requirements"). The proposed rule change would provide a Web-based delivery method for completing the Regulatory Element of the Continuing Education ("CE") requirements. The proposed rule change would also establish a fee for the Web-based delivery of the Regulatory Element.

If the proposal is approved, the current options for completing the Regulatory Element at a test center, as well as in-firm delivery, would be phased out.
