EU Roadmap on a framework for the approximation of sanctioning regimes in the financial sector

Further to the ECOFIN Council's approval of recommendations to harmonise EU-wide supervisory powers and sanctioning regimes, the Commission plans to propose policy actions to ensure that national regimes are strengthened consistently and that sanctions are properly enforced.
