The panelists discussed (i) the cybersecurity landscape, (ii) cybersecurity disclosure issues faced by public companies, (iii) cybersecurity issues faced by exchanges and other market systems, and (iv) how broker-dealers, investment advisers and transfer agents address cybersecurity issues. SIFMA submitted comments to the Development Advisory Group ("DAG") for the Consolidated Audit Trail ("CAT") that provide specific suggestions for high-priority areas that SIFMA advises the DAG to address in 2014.
