SEC Lists Top 10 Investor Bulletins of 2017
The SEC released a list of its 10 most popular Investor Bulletins of 2017:
- "Initial Coin Offerings ("ICOs")" highlighting the risks associated with investing in virtual coins or tokens through ICOs;
- "Public Companies Making ICO-Related Claims," alerting investors to potential scams by companies claiming to be related to or engaging in ICOs;
- "Beware of Stock Recommendations on Investment Research Websites," warning investors that recommendations on seemingly independent sites may be content paid for by issuers;
- "Robo-Advisers," cautioning about the risks and shortcomings of automated digital investment advisory programs;
