Senate Passes GOP Tax Reform, Bill Heads to Conference Committee

By a vote of 51 to 49, the U.S. Senate passed the "Tax Cuts and Jobs Act." On November 16, 2017, the House of Representatives passed its version of the bill. According to House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI), the bill will now move to a conference committee to develop a final version for submission to President Donald J. Trump.
