SEC Names New Deputy Director of Investment Management Division

The SEC named Paul G. Cellupica as the new Deputy Director of the SEC Division of Investment Management (the "Division"). In his new role, Mr. Cellupica will oversee strategic and rulemaking Division initiatives, and will serve as senior advisor to Director Dalia Blass.

Mr. Cellupica was Managing Director and General Counsel for Securities Law at Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association of America. Before that, he was Chief Counsel for the Americas at MetLife, Inc. Mr. Cellupica served with the SEC from 1996 to 2004 in various capacities within the Investment Management and Enforcement Divisions, including as Assistant Director in the Division of Investment Management.
