House Financial Services Committee Chair Jeb Hensarling Elected to Second Term


The House Financial Services Committee reelected Jeb Hensarling (R-TX) as its Chair for the 114th Congress. This will be Representative Hensarling's second term heading the Financial Services Committee.

Additionally, Chair Hensarling selected the subcommittee chairs for the Financial Services Committee in the 114th Congress. The subcommittee chairs include:

  • Rep. Scott Garrett (R-NJ), Chair of the Capital Markets and Government-Sponsored Enterprises Subcommittee;
  • Rep. Randy Neugebauer (R-TX), Chair of the Financial Institutions and Consumer Credit Subcommittee;
  • Rep. Blaine Luetkemeyer (R-MO), Chair of the Housing and Insurance Subcommittee;
  • Rep. Bill Huizenga (R-MI), Chair of the Monetary Policy and Trade Subcommittee; and
  • Rep. Sean Duffy (R-WI), Chair of the Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee.
