NASAA Introduces Program to Extend Validity of Investment Adviser Registrant Examinations

The North American Securities Administrators Association ("NASAA") introduced a new program, the Investment Adviser Representative Exam Validity Extension Program ("IAR EVEP").

In its announcement, NASAA said that the program will allow eligible individuals to enroll their state qualification exams as well as to extend their Series 65 examination validity for up to five years. In addition, NASAA said that both the IAR EVEP and the EVEP for Broker-Dealer Agents now allow eligible individuals to enroll credits for both parts of Series 63 and Series 65 exams.
