NASAA Extends Waiver of IARD Fees for 2018

The North American Securities Administrators Association ("NASAA") waived Investment Adviser Registration Depository ("IARD") system fees for investment advisor firms for 2018. The IARD is a national database sponsored by the SEC and NASAA that allows investment advisors and representatives to submit national and federal registration and notice filings in a single place. In addition, NASAA announced that the IARD setup and renewal fee will be remain at $10 for investment adviser representatives.

NASAA also announced the following fees, effective January 1, 2018: (i) $135 for the Series 63 exam, (ii) $175 for the Series 65 exam, and (iii) $165 for the Series 66 exam.

For a Form D Rule 506 filing made through the NASAA Electronic Filing Depository, the one-time system fee (covering initial, amendment, and renewal filings) will be $155.
