Correction: CAT Participants Withdraw Proposal to Revise Reporter Agreements

The securities exchanges that participate in the Consolidated Audit Trail ("CAT") withdrew proposed amendments to the CAT Reporter Agreement and the CAT Reporter Agent Agreement. The SEC said that the CAT participants withdrew the proposed amendments on September 6, 2022. This is a correction of our coverage from October 25, 2022 (see here).

As previously covered, after broker-dealers raised numerous objections to the proposed amendments, the SEC extended the time to consider the revisions. The exchange participants instead opted to withdraw the revised fee proposal.
