OCC Releases Bank Supervision Operating Plan

The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency ("OCC") released its bank supervision operating plan for fiscal year 2016. The plan highlights supervisory priorities for Large Bank Supervision, Midsize and Community Bank Supervision, OCC's National Risk Committee and the Office of the Chief National Bank Examiner.

Supervisory strategies for fiscal year 2016 will focus on:

  • business model and operational changes;
  • compliance;
  • credit risk and loan underwriting;
  • cybersecurity and resiliency planning; and
  • interest rate risk.
